Update on confidence boost

I got to witness it for myself. The boys started playing "mommy" while I was home. Kevin yelled at the twins to get in their room, and they ran to their room giggling. Then they would come out and Kevin would chase them back in there. Turns out it's a very entertaining game. There was a lot of laughter involved. Then Kevin explained to me how it works.

Kevin: "I pretend to be the mommy and chase the boys into their room for breaking the rules."

Me: "What rules did they break?"

Kevin: "Well, there's one rule that says 'no peeing on the walls'."

Me: !?! "Did they break this rule for real or just for pretend?"

Kevin: "Just for pretend."

So, at least he's enforcing good rules while they play "mommy". We didn't have an official "no peeing on the walls" rule at our house, but now we do.

I love all of your stories about your boys. As a mother of two boys myself, it is great to know I am not the only one out there. Thanks for making me smile!

I like that new rule. Can we have that rule at my house, too? He-he!
