Kevinisms

Kevin spent a week with my parents, getting some individual attention. It turned out to be a good thing for both of us, because we have been getting along so much better since he got back! And in the spirit of getting along with Kevin, here are some of my favorite Kevin quotes of the week:

Kevin: “Mom, do you remember what we were going to tell daddy when he got home?”

Mom: “No, Kevin I don’t remember.”

Kevin: “Let me think.” (taps his head as he thinks) “Oh, I know! You remember. What is it?”

(After the twins spilled some milk) “MOM! The babies are making a mess of milk!”

(On the next one, Kevin has figured out that not all big brothers are blessed with two little brothers at the same time.) “Mom, I don’t want Troy to live here any more. I want him to go away. I only want one baby.”

Mom: “Well, where will Troy go if he doesn’t live here?”

Kevin: “He can go live with Austin.” (I’m sure Austin’s mom would love to add one more child to her house. Kevin later decided that it would be okay if Troy stayed here.)

(What every mother wants to hear) “Mommy, your arms are soft like pillows.”

(And who could forget the ending to that favorite primary song, Book of Mormon stories) “Giv’n this land, if they live, just like me.”
