I complain. A lot. Mostly about the kids. But I’ve written down a few things that my boys have done that made me laugh and I thought I’d share. (This is just a small sampling.)
- Kevin said, “Is Aunt Jamie’s baby still in her tummy?” I said, “Yes.” He replied, “Did she eat it?”
- Steve found a stack of coins that was all stuck together. Not by glue, but by whatever random goo the twins had on them at the time.
- After I told Kevin that he had to play downstairs because we were having book club at our house, he said, “What does a book club look like?”
- While I was in the bathroom, I heard Jonathan yell, “Potty, potty, potty!” Then I saw a pair of pants come under the door.
- At church Kevin had a scratch on his finger and proceeded to show his scratch to everyone. It was on his middle finger.
- We found a sippy cup in the car that still had juice in it. The cup had been missing for two weeks. At least it wasn’t milk.
- I dropped Kevin off at preschool and watched him pick up a handful of snow on his way up to the door. I yelled out the window, “Don’t you throw that snow at your teacher!” To which he replied, “Just go Mom! Drive away!”
and then he said, “Mom, take a picture of me doing this!”
