A little while ago I was in Walmart with my three boys. I rarely take all three of them out in public by myself, but this time it had to be done. While we were in Walmart I was approached by a young man wearing a baseball hat and a lip ring. He asked me, "Are these kids all yours?" I said, "Yes." He said, "They're really cute. Have you ever considered getting them into modelling?" Okay buster, I've heard of this scheme before. He proceeded to tell me how he worked for a talent agency and I could just call them and set up an interview and my kids could be in anything from ads, to commercials, to movies. I gave him a "thanks, but no thanks" and proceeded on my way. When I got home I looked up the name of the company he said he worked for and found out that they pull this alot. Approach moms in Walmarts and malls and get them to bring their kids in for "acting classes", which cost a lot. Then after they take these classes they're supposed to be ready to go out there and model their little hearts out. Well, I think my kids are cute enough without taking classes. They could even advertise for things like:
Gap
Plastic Golf Clubs
Apples

I don't need lip ring dude to tell me my boys are cute!

First of all, kudos to you for attempting Wal-Mart solo with three kids! Your kids are very cute. I love the first picture the best. It really does look like a Gap ad. And good job outing the guy on your blog. You should say the name of the company so people know.
You're right, they do not need any classes! They are naturals!
I agree that these boys are so cute!! They can 'model' for me anytime. They are always darling.
I suddenly want an apple! There should be a list of things NEVER to say to a mother. "Are all these kids yours?" should be in the top 3!
I agree! Way to be smart, there are way too many people out there who would have fallen for that.
I have never been approached @ Wally's world for my kids to be models!! But we usually look pretty homeless when we got to that store! ha ha
But your boys are cute! :)
cute boys!
