So we're well on our way to having the lamppost buried again this year. There's still a little bit sticking out at the top but winter isn't over yet. We have all the rest of the Christmas decorations put away, but the garland around the light will have to stay until spring thaw:
On Saturday we decided to enjoy the fresh layer of snow by taking the kids sledding. We got to the sledding hill and realized that we left Kevin's boots at home. So after a quick trip home to get the boots we were off again. Then we realized that we forgot the camera but Kevin was not interested in running home again so we just took some video. Kevin really loved sledding and even dragged his tube up the hill by himself! That was really helpful because Steve and I (mostly Steve) were busy pulling the twins up the hill and then pushing them back down again. Kevin had a great time but the twins really didn't care much one way or the other about sledding. They seemed to like swinging on the swings better. It doesn't help that when they're in their snowsuits they can't bend at the waist or get back up if they fall down. (Think "A Christmas Story" and "I can't put my arms down!") Since they can't really bend at the waist here's how it looks when all three boys are in the sled together:
They look really comfortable right?

Such cute boys! Even if they can't bend at the waist!
Those little boys are so cute in their snowsuits! It sounds like you had a good time.
that is a great picture of the boys! At least if they fall they wont feel anything :)
